Hey, all – welcome back to Fundy Mutual!

We’ll be continuing our guide on ensuring your teen driver’s wellbeing today by sharing some tips on getting the safest car for them.

Your child means the world to you and they’re a part of the population that is most likely to be involved in an accident. It’s important to take every possible step to secure their safety, and a reliable car is a great start.

While staying within your budget, choose the safest car whether it’s brand new or used. Look for advanced safety features such as front and side airbags, head restraints, anti-lock brakes and electronic stability control. If they’re in a crash, these features could save their lives and might even give you a discount on your premium. Before you decide on a purchase, look up the car’s make, model and year to see additional information, like crash test ratings.

Thanks for watching and be safe out on the road!
