The IBC is reminding Canadians that extreme weather events are becoming more common and emphasizing the importance of preparedness.

“Drive Now. Text Later. Live Longer.” is the one of the road safety messages the Insurance Bureau of Canada (IBC) will be promoting to hockey fans across Canada during the 2014-2015 season.

Working together with police departments across New Brunswick, the IBC is telling Canadians to “Lock It or Lose It,” and to exercise caution with their belongings, always keeping them in sight when in public shopping areas.
