Fall driving safety – part 1 [Video]

Hello, and welcome back!

Some of the conditions that make fall spectacular can also make driving dangerous. Today, we’ll go over a few tips to help you stay safe on the road this autumn.

While your evening commute may have been full of sunshine in July, October could see you driving home in the dark. Even if you’re not planning to drive in the dark, check your headlights, blinkers and brake lights to ensure you can both see and be seen if it gets dark earlier than you were expecting.

Cool fall mornings and evenings also bring fog. If you find your visibility limited by fog, do not put on your high beams. Instead, keep using your low beams and keep some extra distance between yourself and the tail lights ahead of you.
